I started this blog almost a year ago with the goal of using it as a writing sample for a reporting internship I was applying to at the time, shortly after realizing grad school was not for me. With a strong interest in politics, culture, and how higher education was being impacted by the two, I decided to examine the intersection of politics and culture from the perspective of a young American.

The best career decision I ever made was leaving college behind to pursue work experience in the real world. Since last year, my writing has appeared in the State Hornet, the College Fix, the Galt Herald, and the Washington Examiner.
